1 Scope
This standard specifies the testing methods for the analysis items of fiber grade polyester chip (PET).
This standard is applicable to the polyester chips made of terephthalic acid and ethanediol; other functional polyester may make reference to this standard.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purpose of this Standard, the following terms and definitions as well as those specified in GB/T 4146 apply.

Bright polyester chip
Polyester chip with titanium dioxide content less than or equal to 0.12% (mass fraction)
3.2
Semi-dull polyester chip
Polyester chip with titanium dioxide content greater than 0.12% and less than or equal to 0.5% (mass fraction).
