1 Scope
This standard specifies the single fibre tensile property test of man-made staple fibres.
This standard is applicable to the tensile property test of man-made stable fibres made of polyester (dacron), polyamide (Nylon), polyacrylonitrile (acrylon), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl formal (vinylon) and cellulose fibre. The fibre length shall be able to meet the requirements of specified nominal gauge length.
