1 Scope
This standard specifies the test method for primary biodegradability of surfactants.
This standard is applicable to the determination of biological degradability of: anionic surfactants with sulfonic group and sulfonic acid group, surfactants for which the single-chain EO number of polyoxyethylene group ranges 3~40 and the total two-chain, three-chain and four-chain EO number of polyoxyethylene group ranges 6~60; alkylpolyglycosides surfactants, cationic and zwitterionic surfactants and surfactants with relatively affluent foams. This standard is also applicable to the determination of biological degradability of above surfactants in the detergent.
