1 Scope
This Standard specifies terms and definitions, design, materials, shop inspection and test, preparation for dispatch and responsibilities of centrifugal pumps (hereinafter referred to as "the pump").
This Standard is applicable to industrial pumps under conditions with relatively high requirements.
This Standard is not applicable to storage pumps as well as pumps for petroleum, heavy-duty chemical and gas industry services.
