Pure neon and high purity neon
1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and packaging, marking, storage and transportation as well as safety warning of pure neon and high purity neon.
This standard is applicable to pure neon and high purity neon extracted by cryogenic method, which are mainly used for neon lights and as a filling medium in electronic industry, as well as in laser technology, high-energy physics and mixture preparation.
Molecular formula: Ne.
Relative molecular mass: 20.1797 (according to 2009 international relative atomic mass).
