1 Subject Content and Application Scope This standard specifies the type, parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, coating, packing, transportation and storage of seamless steel gas cylinder (hereinafter referred to as "cylinder"). This standard is applicable to design and manufacture movable repeatable-filling steel cylinders used to fill permanent gases or high-pressure liquefied gases with 8~30MPa nominal working pressure and 0.4-80L nominal volume. The operating environment temperature of steel cylinders is -20~60℃ in common areas while -40~60℃ in cold areas. This standard is not applicable to steel cylinder for dissolved gas or adsorbed gas, steel cylinder used for fire extinction and auxiliary cylinder type pressure vessels on vehicle and machinery equipment. 2 Normative References GB 222 Method of Sampling Steel for Determination of Chemical Composition and Permissible Variations for Product Analysis.
