1 Scope
This part of GB/T 18890 specifies the basic structure, model designation, technical requirements, test and acceptance rules, packaging, transportation and storage of power cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation and their accessories for rated voltage of 220kV (Um=252kV).
This part is applicable to outdoor termination, gas-immersed termination for GIS, oil-immersed (transformer) termination, straight joint and sectionalizing joint used for power cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation for rated voltage of 220kV (Um=252kV) specified in GB/T 18890.1-2015 under ordinary installation conditions.
This part is not applicable to insulated joint, transition joint for connecting cross-linked polyethylene insulated cable and paper insulated cable and separable cable termination.
