1 Scope
This standard specifies the structures and codes, requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packing, transport and storage of fastener.
This standard is applicable to the design manufacturing and inspection of fastener.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions as well as those established in GB/T 18763 and GB 19914 are applicable to this standard.
3.1
Fastener
A nail, powered by powder combustion, which may be driven into hard matrix, such as concrete, steel and iron, brick masonry, stone, etc.
3.2
Body
The main part of a fastener, which may be driven into the steel fastener of hard matrix.
3.3
Fastening element
The auxiliary part of a fastener, a component which may fasten the body in the tube of powder actuated tool.
3.4
Accessory
The other part of a fastener, a component which may satisfy the specific additional function of the fastener.
3.5
Shank
The rod-shaped part of the body, which may be driven into hard matrix.
3.6
Point
The apex of the body.
3.7
Head
The big end of the body.
3.8
Blank shank
A shank without any pattern.
3.9
Knurled shank
A shank with a pattern.
3.10
Length(L)
The length of both shank and point.
3.11
Fastener sleeve
A sleeve-shaped fastening element.
3.12
Cap
A cap-shaped fastening element.

The hard part
The incompreible part of a fastening element.
