1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, basic specification and parameters, requirements, experimentation, test rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage and the like for fan-coil unit (hereafter referred to as simply unit).
This standard is applicable to the unit composed of fan and coil with cold water and hot water provided from outside, and the unit with the function of direct delivery of air to room and heating and cooling respectively or in both, and with an air supply below 2 500 m3/h and an outlet static pressure below 100 Pa. This standard is not applicable to fan-coil units consist of equipment such as heat source or cold source, steam coil and electric heater.

3 Terms and Definitions
GB/T 16803-1997 For the purposes of this national standard, the terms and definitions final and given in the following apply.
3.1
Nominal Value
Under the standard test conditions, units should meet the basic value, namely, product nameplate and product marking up the value of the sample.
3.2
Standard Air
It is the air under atmospheric pressure of 101.3kPa, a temperature of 20℃, and a density of 1.2kg/m.
3.3
Rated Air Flow Value
It is, under the regulated trial conditions and standard air condition, the air volume flow into the set in unit time with cubic meters/hour or meters/second as the unit.
3.4
Rated Cooling Capacity
It is the total heat of the unit under the regulated trail conditions, namely total mount of sensible heat and latent heat, using W or KW as unit.
3.5
Rated Heating Capacity
It is the total sensible heat of the unit under the regulated trail conditions using W or KW as unit.
3.6
Outlet air static pressure
It is the air outlet static pressure of the unit at rated wind and after overcoming the self-resistance, and using Pa as unit.
3.7
Low-static pressure unit
It is the unit with an outlet static pressure of 0 or 12 at rated wind.
Note: For the unit with tuyere and filter, the outlet static pressure is 0 Pa; for the unit without them, outlet static pressure is 12 Pa.
3.8
High static pressure unit
It is the unit with an outlet static pressure less than 30 Pa at rated wind.
