1 Scope This standard is applicable to all rotating electrical machines except for those electric machines specified in other international and IEC standards, such as IEC 60349. Electric machines specified in this standard may also meet the requirements of other replaced, modified or supplementary international and IEC standards, such as GB 3836 (IEC 60079) and GB/T 7060 (IEC 60092). "Agreement" in this standard refers to "agreement reached between the manufacturer and users". 3.1 Rated value A value is set generally by the manufacturer for the electric machines under prescribed operation condition. NOTE Rated voltage or voltage range refers to terminal rated voltage or voltage range. 3.2 Rating It refers to a group of rated values and operation conditions. 3.3 Rated output It is the output value in the rating. 3.4 Load Values of the total electric quantities and quantities to be used for the machinery are applied to the electrical machines by circuit or machinery at given time. 3.5 No-load (operation) It refers to the rotation regime when the electric machine is in zero power output (others are all normal operation conditions).

NOTE Rated voltage or voltage range refers to terminal rated voltage or voltage range. 3.2 Rating It refers to a group of rated values and operation conditions. 3.3 Rated output It is the output value in the rating. 3.4 Load Values of the total electric quantities and quantities to be used for the machinery are applied to the electrical machines by circuit or machinery at given time. 3.5 No-load (operation) It refers to the rotation regime when the electric machine is in zero power output (others are all normal operation conditions).
