1 Scope
This standard specifies requirements of terms and definitions, classification and code, dimension, appearance, weight, technical specifications, inspection and test, package, mark and certification of continuously electrolytically zinc/zinc-nickel alloy steel sheet and strip (hereinafter referred to as steel sheet and strip).
This standard is applicable to electrolytically zinc/zinc-nickel alloy steel sheets and strips used in automobile, home appliances, and electron industries, etc.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions are applicable to this standard.
3.1 Electrolytic Zinc Coating(ZE)
Coating produced by galvanography through production line of continuously electrolytically zinc and constituted by pure zinc; coating is free from any minor element harmful to the binding force or painting performance of binder.
3.2 Electrolytic Zinc-Nickel Coating (ZN)
Coating produced by galvanography through production line of continuously electrolytically zinc and constituted by pure zinc; the mass fraction range of nickel in coating is around 8%~15%, and the rest compositions are zinc.
3.3 Anti-Fingerprint Treatment
Carry out passivation to the surface of steel sheet and strip, and coat anti-fingerprint film to improve the stain–resistance of electronic or electric products.
