——The grade names are modified (see 4.2; 4.2 of Edition 2005);
——The rule for naming stone is modified, i.e. stone is named by its name given in relevant standard or by its number (see 4.3.1; 4.3.1 of Edition 2005);
——General requirements are added, including the recommended size for normal slabs and requirements for back net glue and stone protective agent (see Clause 5);
——The thickness requirements for dry hanging slabs are deleted (see 6.1.2; 5.2.1 of Edition 2005);
——The requirements for measurement accuracy of flatness and straightness are modified (see 7.1.5 and 7.1.6; 6.2.1 and 6.2.2.1 of Edition 2005);
——Method for petrographic analysis of stone is added (see 7.3.1);
——Methods for testing bulk density, water absorption and compressive strength under special conditions are added (see 7.3.2 and 7.3.3);
——The Annex with respect to abrasion resistance test method is deleted and those specified in standard with respect to test methods for stones are adopted (see 7.3.5; 6.5.5 of Edition 2005).
This standard was proposed by China Building Materials Federation.
