1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of sodium hydroxide for industrial use.
This standard is applicable to products of sodium hydroxide for industrial use.

4 Requirements
4.1 Appearance The main body of solid sodium hydroxide (including flake, granular, block, etc.) is white and shiny, and micro strip color is allowed. Liquid sodium hydroxide is colorless, transparent and thick liquid.
4.2 Sodium hydroxide for industrial use shall comply with the provisions in Table 1.
