This document is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents.
This document replaces GB/T 22068-2018 Electrically driven compressor assembly for automobile air conditioning. In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the following main technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 22068-2018:
a) The scope of application is modified (see Clause 1 hereof; and Clause 1 of Edition 2018);
b) The definition of the term "electrically driven compressor assembly" is modified (see 3.1 hereof; and 3.1 of Edition 2018);
c) The term "continuous liquid durability test" and its definition are added (see 3.5 hereof);
d) The term "initiation of the liquid shock durability test" and its definition are added (see 3.6 hereof);
e) The function-based classification type of compressor products is modified (see 4.1 hereof; and 4.1 of Edition 2018);
f) The range of the refrigerant used for compressors is modified (see 4.2 hereof; and 4.2 of Edition 2018);
g) The nominal conditions for compressors are modified (see 4.3 hereof; and 4.3 of Edition 2018);
h) The general requirements for electrically driven compressors are modified and the requirement for integral compressors is added (see 5.1.2 hereof; and 5.1 of Edition 2018);
i) The refrigerating (heating) coefficient of performance (COP) limits for compressors are modified (see 5.3 hereof; and 5.3 of Edition 2018);

1 Scope
This document defines the terms and definitions, specifies the type, basic parameters and technical requirements, describes the corresponding test methods, and stipulates the inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transport and storage of electrically driven compressor assembly for automobile air conditioning.
This document is applicable to the manufacture of electrically driven compressor assembly in automotive thermal management systems.

electrically driven compressor assembly
positive displacement refrigerant compressor equipment used in automotive thermal management systems for vapor compression refrigeration cycles, consisting of an electric motor-driven compressor with direct current motor, and a drive controller
Note: The split electrically driven compressor assembly is used by independently installing the compressor with direct current motor and the drive controller, and the integral electrically driven compressor assembly is used by integrating the compressor with direct current motor and the drive controller.

compressor with direct current motor
closed or semi-closed structure consisting of a positive displacement refrigerant compressor and an electric motor
3.3
drive controller
device that is connected with the main power supply of the automobile, consists of an external control signal interface circuit, a motor control circuit, a power drive circuit and a protection circuit, and is used for controlling the energy transmission and conversion between the DC power supply and the compressor motor
3.4
exciting force
periodic simple harmonic vibration caused by such vibration sources as rotating unbalanced mass and running airflow pulsation of an electrically driven compressor
3.5
continuous liquid durability test
durability test which simulates the continuous operation of the compressor without suction superheat degree and with a certain amount of liquid refrigerant at the suction port
3.6
initiation of the liquid shock durability test
durability test which simulate that a compressor with a certain amount of liquid refrigerant at the suction port can reach a certain cycle initiation times
4 Types and basic parameters
4.1 Types
4.1.1 The electrically driven compressor assembly (hereinafter referred to as "compressors") is classified by function as follows:
——Split-cooling type;
——Heat-pump type (capable of operating normally at an evaporation temperature of -25°C).
4.1.2 Compressors are classified by structural type as follows:
——Integral type;
——Split type.
4.1.3 Compressors are classified by seal type as follows:
——Hermetic type;
——Semi-hermetic type;
4.1.4 Compressors are classified by applicable vehicle type as follows:
——For passenger cars;
——For buses.
4.1.5 Compressors are classified as follows by the displacement range (see Table 1 for the displacement range):
