Introduction of GB/T 23137-2008

1 Scope This standard specifies the heat pump water heater for household and similar application (hereinafter referred to as heat pump water heater) in terms of terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation. This standard is applicable to heat pump water heaters for household and similar application driven by motor, using vapor compression refrigeration cycle, with air and water as heat source in order to provide hot water; heat pump water heaters for other heat source or applications may also use for reference. This standard is not applicable to the heat pump water heater for industrial application. 2 Normative References The following standards and documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard.
