1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, code and labelling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of gaskets for doors, windows and curtain walls of buildings.
This standard is applicable to vulcanized rubber gaskets and thermoplastic elastomeric gaskets for doors, windows and curtain walls of buildings. It is not applicable to foam and composite gaskets.
