1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transport, storage and operating instructions in terms of dining tables and chairs.
This standard is applicable to independent and movable dining tables and chairs (including stools, the same below) made of materials such as wood, metal, glass and stone for indoor dining of domestic or commercial places. This standard may also serve as a reference for products made of other materials.
This standard is not applicable to foldable dining tables and chairs or those in the form of integrated table and chair, nor is it applicable to dining tables and chairs for children and dining tables with an electric bearing.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transport, storage and operating instructions in terms of dining tables and chairs.
