——The definitions of solid wood type furniture and surface decoration are modified, and the definition of solid wood and wood-based panel type furniture is added; the definition of base material is deleted (see Chapter 3; Chapter 3 in 2008 edition);
——The product classification is modified and is included in Annex A (see Annex A; Chapter 4 in 2008 edition);
——Main dimensions of desks, cabinets, chairs and stools, and beds are modified (see 5.1; 5.1 in 2008 edition);
——Requirements of moisture content of wood-based panel are deleted, and technical requirements of identification consistency and wood-based panel are modified (see 5.3; 5.3 in 2008 edition);
——Requirements of film resistance to cigarette burn are deleted, wearability requirements of film are modified; requirements of fluid resistance of flexible and rigid overlaid surfaces are modified, requirements of surface bonding strength are deleted, requirements of surface resistance to wet heat are added; requirements of corrosion resistance of metal handle are modified (see 5.5; 5.5 in 2008 edition);
——Technical requirements of desks, cabinets, chairs and stools, and beds are modified (see 5.7; 5.7 in 2008 edition);

1 Scope
This standard specifies terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, use instruction, packaging, transportation and storage of wooden furniture.
This standard is applicable to the wooden furniture. The wooden parts of other furniture may also refer to the provisions of this standard.

furniture with main parts made of wood-based panels (including element board and surface decorated wood-based panels) such as fiberboard, particle board, plywood, blockboard and laminated veneer lumber
