GB/T 36003-2018 Food can made of tinplate or electrolytic chromium-coated steel (ECCS)
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for terms and definitions, classification, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of food cans made of tinplate or electrolytic chromium-coated steel (ECCS) (hereinafter referred to as food cans).
This standard is applicable to the manufacture, use, circulation and supervision and inspection of food cans made of tinplate or electrolytic chromium-coated steel (ECCS) for the packaging of foods such as livestock, poultry, aquatic animals, fruits, vegetables, cereals, beans, etc., which have been sealed and sterilized to meet commercial aseptic requirements.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 14251 and the following apply.
3.1
plain tinplate can
a type of can whose body is made of tinplate without coating on the inner surface, but can use an inner stripe to protect the weld seam
3.2
lacquered tinplate can
can made of tinplate (or ECCS) coated with a coating film on the inner surface of the can body and end
3.3
striped can
can in which the weld seam of a welded can is recoated
3.4
stripe
anticorrosive coating covering the weld seam and its sides by roll, spray or electrostatic spraying
3.5
enamel rate
conduction current value caused by the microporosity or damage on the surface of the inner coating film caused by raw materials or processing, which is one of the characterization indexes of the enamel rate value

4.1 Food cans are classified into three-piece cans and two-piece cans according to the structure, see Figure 1 for examples.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for terms and definitions, classification, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of food cans made of tinplate or electrolytic chromium-coated steel (ECCS) (hereinafter referred to as food cans).
This standard is applicable to the manufacture, use, circulation and supervision and inspection of food cans made of tinplate or electrolytic chromium-coated steel (ECCS) for the packaging of foods such as livestock, poultry, aquatic animals, fruits, vegetables, cereals, beans, etc., which have been sealed and sterilized to meet commercial aseptic requirements.
