Hydrogen - Part 2: Pure hydrogen, high pure hydrogen and ultrapure hydrogen
1 Scope
This part specifies the technical requirements, test methods, packaging, marking, storage and transportation, and safety requirements for pure hydrogen, high pure hydrogen and ultrapure hydrogen.
This part is applicable to cylindered, container-compartmented and pipeline-transported hydrogen produced with adsorption method and diffusion method, which is mainly used in the fields of electronic industry, petrochemical industry, metal smelting and scientific research.
Molecular formula: H2.
Relative molecular mass: 2.01588 (as per the international relative atomic mass in 2007).

3 Requirements
3.1 The technical requirements for pure hydrogen, high pure hydrogen and ultrapure hydrogen shall meet those specified in Table 1.

3.2 Except for ultrapure hydrogen, the supplier and the purchaser shall determine whether the argon content is included in the purity calculation through negotiation.
4 Inspection rules
4.1 The continuously and stably produced cylindered (or container-compartmented) pure hydrogen and cylindered high pure hydrogen are grouped into batches of products produced by one operation shift of the manufacturer or filled at one time, and users group the batches based on the same vehicle loading volume or the same batch purchase volume. The number of cylinders (or compartments) per batch of products shall not exceed 300.
