1 Scope
This standard specifies the general rules for inspection, packing, storing, transportation, marking and certification of ferroalloy.
This standard is applicable to the delivery of ferroalloy products.
2 Normative references
The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this standard, constitute provisions of this standard. For dated references, subsequent amendments to (excluding corrections), or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the normative documents indicated below. For undated references, the latest edition of the normative document applies.

3 Acceptance
3.1 The technical requirements of ferroalloy products shall meet the requirements of corresponding standards, and the elements required to be tested of each product shall meet those specified in Table 1. In case that the purchaser has any special requirement, it may be determined through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser.
3.2 Ferroalloy products shall be strictly finished. The surface and section shall be free from any visually visible non-metallic inclusions, but a small amount of slag inclusion and ingot coating are allowed.
3.3 The purchaser may reinspect the quality of ferroalloy products in accordance with corresponding standards. If there is any objection, it shall raise it within 30 days after receipt of the products. In principle, the products shall not be used before reinspection. In case of any disagreement over the delivery, the supplier and the purchaser shall submit the case for arbitration in accordance with the relevant national standards for ferroalloy products. If there is no corresponding national standard, arbitration shall be conducted according to the agreement between the supplier and the purchaser.

3.4 The chemical composition results of ferroalloy shall be judged in accordance with the rounded-off-value comparison method specified in GB/T 1250.
4 Packaging
Ferroalloy products can be divided into bulk supplies and packaging supplies according to the requirements of contract or technical standards. The form and quantity of packing shall be indicated in the contract.
5 Storing and transportation
5.1 Products shall be stored by variety and batch number. If stored in the open air, it shall be moisture-proof and avoid mixing with sundries.
