1 Scope
This document specifies the method for the determination of boron content in ferroboron by alkalimelry titration.
This document is applicable to the determination of boron content in ferroboron. The determination range (mass fraction) is 3.00% ~ 26.00%.

4 Principle
The sample is melted and decomposed with anhydrous sodium carbonate or sodium potassium carbonate-sodium peroxide, then leached with water, and subjected to dry filtering to separate iron, manganese, nickel, etc. Take a portion of the filtrate and add citric acid to mask aluminium. Adjust the test solution pH to 6.9 according to the indication of the acidity meter, add mannitol, and titrate with sodium hydroxide standard solution pH to 6.9, indicating the endpoint.
