Juvenile products - General requirements for accessories of the nursery room
1 Scope
This document specifies the general technical requirements (including appearance, physical and chemical properties, structural performance, flammability, chemical substance content, sanitary performance, electrical performance and radiation performance) and specific product requirements for accessories of the nursery room, describes the test methods related to general technical requirements and specific product requirements for accessories of the nursery room, and gives the product identification, use and maintenance instructions of accessories of the nursery room.
This document is applicable to accessories of the nursery room in public places, which are specially used for lactation and changing diapers or clothes for infants, and are often used by infants and moms, such as diaper changing tables, children protection seats, nursery chairs, etc.
Note: This document is also applicable to diaper changing tables, children protection seats and nursery chairs used in other places except for nursery room.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB 6675.2-2014 and the following apply.
3.1
nursery room
service place reserved for women to breastfeed and feed infants, change diapers or maternal women
3.2
diaper changing products
device designed or scheduled for tidying up clothes or changing diapers of infants under 36 months and weighing up to 15 kg in a flat position
Note: They include wall mounted diaper changing unit, freestanding diaper changing table and diaper changing pad, etc.

wall mounted diaper changing unit
diaper changing unit installed on a wall

3.2.2
freestanding diaper changing table
diaper changer table which can move and be served for people while standing and may be designed with storage area for diapers and diaper products

3.2.3
diaper changing pad
pad placed on a higher table under the children when changing diapers, which can be flat or curved. When changing diapers, children are placed on the pads

3.3
children protection seat
wall-mounted chair with a restraint system or safety barrier for children aged 6 to 24 months who can sit on their own and weigh up to 12 kg

Note 2: It includes seats without base [see Figure A.2 b) in Annex A] or seat with base (i.e. floor type) [see Figure A.2 c) in Annex A].
Note 3: It is designed to place the children safely in a seat so that the children are within the sight of the parents.
3.3.1

its both ends are connected with the backrest of the children protection seat and surround the front of the children to keep the child on the seat
3.3.2
crotch restraint
device that connects the protection bar with the middle front of the seat surface, lies between the legs of children when used, and keeps children on the seat together with the protection bar
