Automotive active infrared detection system
1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements, test methods and inspection rules for an automotive active infrared detection system.
This document is applicable to active infrared detection system used by M and N vehicles (hereinafter referred to as the “system”), and and may apply to the systems used by other vehicles.

a system for sensing infrared light emitted by active lighting units and reflected by an object in a low illumination environment and converting it into a distinguishable image signal
3.2
active lighting units
units for emitting infrared light
3.3
frame rate
number of pictures that produce complete images per unit time, that is, the total number of scans per unit time for spatial lines of video signals
