1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, package and storage of marine cast iron flanged stop valves (hereinafter referred to as stop valves) with flange connection dimension and sealing face in accordance with those specified in GB/T 569 and GB/T 2501.
This standard is applicable to the design, manufacturing and acceptance of stop valves for pipeline system with seawater, fresh water, lubricating oil and fuel oil as medium.

3 Classification and Labeling
3.1 Type
The types of stop valves are specified as follows:
Type A - through-type stop valve with flange connection dimension and sealing face in accordance with GB/T 569;
Type B - perpendicular-type stop valve with flange connection dimension and sealing face in accordance with GB/T 569;
Type AS - through-type stop valve with flange connection dimension and sealing face in accordance with GB/T 2501;
Type BS - perpendicular-type stop valve with flange connection dimension and sealing face in accordance with GB/T 2501.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, package and storage of marine cast iron flanged stop valves (hereinafter referred to as stop valves) with flange connection dimension and sealing face in accordance with those specified in GB/T 569 and GB/T 2501.
This standard is applicable to the design, manufacturing and acceptance of stop valves for pipeline system with seawater, fresh water, lubricating oil and fuel oil as medium.
