1 Scope
This part of GB/T 6060 specifies the terms and definitions, methods of manufacture, surface characteristics, classification, surface roughness parameters and evaluation, structure and dimension, lay of processing, and marking and packaging of roughness comparison specimens (hereinafter referred to as "specimen") of ground, turned, bored, milled, shaped and planed surfaces.
This part is applicable to roughness comparison specimens of ground, turned, bored, milled, shaped and planed surfaces. The specimen is used to determine the surface roughness parameter of the machined piece by comparison with the surface of the machined piece having the same material and machining method.
