1 Scope
This standard specifies basic testing method for relaying protection and security automatic equipment.
This standard is applicable to the test of such products as all-or-nothing relay, measuring relay, protection equipment, security automatic equipment (protection equipment and security automatic equipment are referred to as equipment) and their interface equipment for the secondary loop of power system.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 2422, GB/T 2900.1, GB/T 2900.17, GB/T 2900.49, GB/T 4365 and DL/Z 860.2 and the following apply.

basic testing method
the general method for testing products under specified testing conditions, excluding the methods for specialized test and specific test of certain type of product
3.2
variation test
the test during which a certain influence quantity or influence factor is the limit value in nominal range and the rest influence quantities or influence factors are under reference conditions
3.3
permissible deviation of the testing condition
if the parameter of specified testing condition is M and that of actual testing condition is N, the permissible deviation of the testing condition is calculated according to Formula (1):

1 Scope
