1.1 The sample is cooled from 80℃ to the temperature specified by the test requirements with the constant temperature for 16h at the cooling rate of nonlinear programming within 10h. Specified torsion is gradually applied to the rotational viscometer; the velocity of rotation is observed and measured; then the yield stress and apparent viscosity of this temperature are calculated. The results of three or more than test temperatures are used for the determination of borderline pumping temperature of this sample.
1.2 If just to meet the requirements of some sizes or classifications , only the borderline pumping temperature is needed to be determined below certain specified temperature.
