1 Scope
This standard specifies the types, basic parameters and model denotation methods of vertical cylindrical steel vessels with mechanical agitating equipments.
This standard is applicable to the vertical cylindrical steel vessels with mechanical agitating equipments (hereinafter referred to as "the agitating vessel") with a volume of 0.040 m3 ~ 200 m3, diameter of 400 mm ~ 5,800 mm, design pressure (gauge pressure) of -0.1 MPa ~ 15 MPa, which are used for liquid medium with temperature of -40 °C ~ 350 °C, dynamic viscosity of not more than 500 Pa•s and density of not more than 2 t/m3.
This standard is not applicable to agitating vessels without cover or heated directly by flame.
