1.0.1 This standard is formulated with a view to rationally utilize natural sand, artificial sand, crushed stone and gravel in the ordinary concrete so as to guarantee their quality.
1.0.2 This standard is applicable to the quality requirements and test methods of sand and crushed stone for ordinary concrete used in industrial/civil buildings and structures.
1.0.3 Alkali reactivity test shall be conducted for sand and crushed stone which is to be used for important concrete structures long in damp environment.
1.0.4 As for the quality requirements and testing of sand and crushed stone, not only the requirements stipulated in this standard, but also those in the current relevant ones of the nation shall be complied with.
