Cables for Coal Mine-Part 2: Flexible Cables for Use with Coal Cutters of Rated Voltages Up to and Including 1.9/3.3 kV 1 Scope This Part of MT 818 specifies the product classification, naming, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of flexible cables for use with coal cutters of rated voltages up to and including 1.9/3.3 kV (hereinafter referred to as cable). This Part is applicable to the copper-core rubber sheathed flexible cables for use with coal cutters and similar equipments of rated voltages up to and including 1.9/3.3 kV. 2 Normative References The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this Part of MT 818, constitute provisions of this Part. For dated reference, subsequent amendments to (excluding correction to), or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, the parties to agreements based on this Part are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the standards.
