1 Scope
This Part of MT 818 specifies the product classification, naming, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of flexible cables for use with coal cutters of rated voltages up to and including 1.9/3.3 kV (hereinafter referred to as cable).
This Part is applicable to the copper-core rubber sheathed flexible cables for use with coal cutters and similar equipments of rated voltages up to and including 1.9/3.3 kV.
