Cables for coal mine -Part 5: Movable flexible cables of rated voltages up to and including 0.66/1.14kV
1 Scope
This part of MT 818 specifies the product classification and designation, technical requirements, test methods and acceptance rules of movable rubber-sheathed flexible cables with rated voltages of 0.38/0.66kV and 0.66/1.14kV for coal mines (hereinafter referred to as "cables").
This part is applicable to rubber-insulated rubber-sheathed flexible cables with rated voltages of 0.38/0.66kV and 0.66/1.14kV for movable equipment in coal mines.

3 Product classification and designation
3.1 Types
3.1.2 See Table 1 for the models of cables.
3.1.3 Cables may be classified into single-core cables and 4-core (3+1) cables according to the number of cores. The structure of 4-core cable is shown in Figure 1.

3.2 Specifications
The cable specifications shall meet those specified in Tables 2, 3 and 4. The nominal cross-sectional area of earth wire core conductor shall not be less than the specifications specified in Tables 3 and 4.
