NB/SH/T 6042-2021 Lubricant oil for electric vehicle reducer
1 Scope
This document specifies the product varieties, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, identification, packaging, transportation, storage and delivery acceptance of lubricant oils for electric vehicle reducers prepared with refined mineral oil, synthetic oil, or the mixture of the above both as base oil supplemented with various additives.
The products specified in this document are applicable to the first-speed reducer system of electric passenger vehicles, and are also applicable to the first-speed reducer system of extended-range electric vehicles.

4 Product varieties
According to the motor cooling method, the products are classified into: lubricant oil for electric vehicle reducer with water-cooled motor and lubricant oil for electric vehicle reducer with oil-cooled motor.
5 Requirements and test methods
The technical requirements and test methods for lubricant oil for electric vehicle reducer with water-cooled motor and lubricant oil for electric vehicle reducer with oil-cooled motor shall be as specified in Tables 1 and 2 respectively.

6.1.1 End-of-manufacturing inspections
End-of-manufacturing inspections include end-of-manufacturing batch inspection and end-of-manufacturing periodic inspection.
