QC/T 1201.3-2023 Compatibility of on-board battery swap system for battery electric commercial vehicles—Part 3: Battery swap mechanism (English Version)
QC/T 1201.3-2023 Compatibility of on-board battery swap system for battery electric commercial vehicles - Part 3: Battery swap mechanism
1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements for compatibility of the battery swap mechanism in the on-board battery swap system of battery electric commercial vehicles with cab-back battery swap.
This document is applicable to Categories N2 and N3 battery electric vehicles whose cab-back swappable battery system is replaced as a whole. It may be used as a reference for vehicles with battery swap made in other forms.
2 Normative references
The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies.
GB/T 1804 General tolerances - Tolerances for linear and angular dimensions without individual tolerance indications

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 19596 and the following apply.
3.1
swappable battery system
power battery system changed in a whole in the power exchange process of vehicles, which generally includes power battery, battery management system, battery bracket, battery swap coupler and battery swap mechanical interface, etc. and can be charged and discharged in off-board state
3.2
on-board battery swap base
device installed on a pure electric commercial vehicle, connecting the vehicle with the swappable battery system, and realizing the replacement and locking of the swappable battery system
3.3
battery swap mechanism
mechanical device for combining and separating the swappable battery system and the vehicle
Note: It may have the functions of guiding, positioning, limiting, holding, fastening and locking. [Source: GB/T 40032-2021, 3.4, modified].
3.4
battery swap connector
connecting device for connecting the swappable battery system and the vehicle, and transmitting electrical energy, electrical signals, communication data and thermal energy media
Note: The connectors generally include electrical interfaces, but may also include cooling interfaces for transmitting cooling medium, and mechanical interfaces for fastening and locking. [Source: GB/T 40032-2021, 3.3, modified].
3.5
cab-back battery swap
vehicle energy replenishment through change of the battery system in a whole which is mounted behind the driver's cab
4 Requirements for compatibility
4.1 Arrangement form
The arrangement of the on-board battery swap system with cab-back battery swap on the whole vehicle is shown in Figure 1.
