1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements for compatibility of on-board battery swap system for battery electric passenger vehicles, including those for type, structure, dimension and parameters.
This document is applicable to the battery swap mechanism of on-board battery swap system for battery electric passenger vehicles.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 19596, GB/T 40032-2001 and the following apply.
3.1
battery swap mechanism
mechanical device for combining and separating the battery pack and the vehicle body
Note: It may have the functions of guiding, positioning, limiting, holding, fastening and locking.

bolted battery swap mechanism
battery swap mechanism that fixes a battery box by rotating bolts
3.3
clasped battery swap mechanism
battery swap mechanism that fixes a battery box through a clasp connection method
4 Technical requirements for compatibility
4.1 The battery swap mechanism should have a guiding and floating function.
4.2 The vehicle shall be capable of moving in the Z-axis direction or the X-/Z-axis direction after an unlocking action is applied.
Note: Refer to the definition of vehicle coordinate system given in GB/T 12673 for X-, Y- and Z-axis directions.
