Technological requirements for packaging spacecraft 1 Scope This standard specifies the packing principle, technological support for packing, technological requirements for packing, technological procedures for packing, test methods and inspection rules of packing containers and packing segments of spacecraft (including cabin). This standard is applicable to packing and the design, manufacture, test and acceptance of and packing boxes of various spacecrafts. 2 Normative references The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this standard, constitute provisions of this standard. For dated references, subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) to, or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent edition of the normative documents indicated below. For undated references, the latest edition of the normative document applies. If necessary, the packing may be carried out in different cabins. In principle, only one product with its accessories, spare parts and accompanying documents shall be packed in one packing box, and non-matching products shall not be included. Products and spare parts/accessories (such as antenna, solar wing, storage battery, camera and multilayer thermal insulation material of thermal control system) which belong to the same spacecraft may be packed separately.
