1 Scope
This standard specifies the test items and contents, test equipment and instruments, and test assessment methods for body static strength of railway freight cars.
This standard is applicable to the new standard-gauge general railway freight cars with maximum running speed not larger than 120km/h, gross load hauled of train not larger than 6,000t (of 10,000t or above for coal transport specific line) and axle load not larger than 25t. Other freight cars may refer to this standard.
