1 Scope
This standard specifies code name, order content, dimension, appearance, weight and permissible variation of the welded steel H-section, as well as technical requirements, welding inspection, test rules, reinspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate etc.
This standard is applicable to the welded steel H-section for industrial and civil buildings, structures and other steel structures. Type series specified in this standard are applicable to column, beam, pile, industrial frame and other members of steel structure.
This standard is applicable to design adoption, production and acceptance of all sorts of welded steel H-section structures.
