本文件给出了常压储罐（含储罐基础）定期检验的通则、年度检查、全面检验、基于风险的检验、评价及结论和检验周期。
本文件适用于设计压力（若设计压力未知则为储罐顶部气相空间的鼓高压力，即表压）大于或等于-490Pa且小于0.1MPa、公称容积大于或等于100m3，盛装石油、石油产品或液体化工介质的立式圆筒形钢制焊接常压储罐的检验。
本文件不适用于储存毒性程度为极度和高度危害介质储罐的检验。
