本标准规定了热塑性聚合物船舶术语和定义，材料要求，工艺要求，结构设计与布置原则，结构最低要求等。
本标准适用于山东省行政区域内建造的船体材料为热塑性聚合物的船舶，除另有规定外，适用于船长大于或等于5?m但小于20?m的船舶。对船长小于5?m的船舶，可参照本标准执行。
