本标准规定了连续监测环境空气中挥发性有机物的气相色谱-氢火焰离子化检测器/质谱检测器联用法。
本标准适用于环境空气和无组织排放监控点空气中乙炔等100种挥发性有机物的测定；其它挥发性有机物通过本方法适用性验证的，也可采用本标准测定。
当使用仪器量程为（0～50）μmol/mol，进样体积为300?mL时，本方法检出限为0.2?μg/m3～3?μg/m3，测定下限为0.8?μg/m3～12?μg/m3。（详见附录A）。
