本标准规定了工业用计算机射线照相检测的成像系统、检测环境、图像处理方法、图像质量、成像技术、检测方法、检出缺陷等级评定及检测报告及图像保存等。
本标准适用于母材厚度为2～50mm的钢、有色金属材料制成的工业制品以及厚度200mm以下的非金属制品的计算机射线照相检测，还可用于某些物品内部结构的无损鉴别。 本标准规定的射线检测技术分三级：A级�低灵敏度技术、AB级�中灵敏度技术、B级�高灵敏度技术。
本标准规定计算机射线照相检测系统等级为I/Y级IP，最小的信噪比为65。
