1 General Provisions 1.0.1 This Part was revised with a view to strengthening the technical management of the pipe engineering construction and further improving the engineering quality. 1.0.2 This Part is applicable to the erection and construction of process pipes of the new-built, extended or reconstructed 1,000MW or below thermal power generation, gas turbine generation, biomass electric power generation and garbage power generation stations and the conventional islands of nuclear power. 1.0.3 This Part is not applicable to the process pipes made of the following materials: 1 Cast iron pipes and reinforced concrete pipes; 2 Nonmetallic pipe (plastics and glass reinforced plastic, etc.); 3 Non-ferrous metal pipe (titanium and copper, etc.); 4 Lined pipe; 5 Pipes of composite materials; 6 Pipes of other special materials. 1.0.4 In addition to complying with the technical requirements stated in this Part, the special erection and construction of various pipes also shall meet those specified in the relevant professional parts in the national standards and the "Technical Specification for Thermal Power Erection and Construction".
