1 Scope This standard specifies the relevant terms and definitions, basic technical requirements, test and inspection, package, transportation and storage as well as technical documents of computer supervision and control systems for hydraulic powerplants. This standard is applicable to the design and fabrication of computer supervision and control system for large and medium hydraulic powerplants, and the computer supervision and control systems for other type hydraulic powerplants may refer to this standard. 2 Normative References The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard. GB 7260 "Uninteruptible Power Systems" GB 7450 "Guidance for Lightning Protection for Electronic Equipments" GB 11920 "General Specification of Central Control Equipments for Electrical Parts in Power Stations and Substations" GB 18030 "Information Technology-Chinese Coded Character Set" GB/T 4798 "Environmental Conditions Existing in the Application of Electric and Electronic Products" GB/T 13384 "General Specifications for Packing of Mechanical and Electrical Product" GB/T 17626 "Electromagetic Compatibility-Testing and Measurement Techniques" DL/T 631 "General Specification for Mimic Board Driver" DL/T 822 "Code of Test and Acceptance of Monitoring and Control System for Hydropower Plants" DL/T 5350 "Drawing Standard of Electrical Engineering for Hydropower and Water Resources Project" 3 Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions are applicable to this standard 3.1 Computer supervision and control systems (CSCS) It refers to the system utilizing computer to carry out real time monitoring and control for production process. 3.2 Plant control level (PCL) or main control level (MCL) It refers to the central control level of computer supervision and control systems for hydraulic powerplants. 3.3 Local control level (LCL) It refers to the control level established locally after unit division of controlled equipment of computer supervision and control systems for hydraulic powerplants. 3.4 Local control unit (LCU) It refers to the equipment responsible for monitoring unit, switch station, station service electrical system and public utility. 3.5 Man-machine interface (MMI) It refers to the connection of running, maintenance and management personnel with computer supervision and control system equipment. 3.6 Communication interface It refers to the information exchange port between equipments. 3.7 Local area network (LAN) It refers to the inhouse network distributed in one area for connecting computer equipment. 3.8 Digital quantity It refers to the physical quantity or state quantity of equipment state expressed with coded pulse or logic level signal. 3.9 Analog quantity It refers to the physical quantity of equipment characteristic expressed with continuously variable level signal. 3.10 Data It refers to the value expression of digital quantity or analog quantity meanings. 3.11 Point It refers to input/output interface equipment. The classification meanings of point is listed as follows: a) Digital input point: it expresses the input equipment point of equipment state with digital logic state type; the digital input point shall include the information of the following input types: Change of status point: it expresses digital quantity signal input point of equipment state. Sequence of event point: it records the digital quantity signal input point of equipment state event sequence function. Accumulator point: it records the number of equipment pulse state and accumulated digital signal input point. Coded point: it expresses the digital signal input point of equipment state or characteristic. b) Digital output point: it refers to the equipment point controlling equipment state with digital logic state type. c) Analog input point: it refers to input equipment point expressing continuous variation of equipment characteristic with value scalar type. d) Analog output point: it refers to equipment point expressing the control for equipment state characteristic with value scalar type. e) Special function input point: it refers to the input equipment point receiving specific composite signal and converting to equipment state characteristic value scalar and/or equipment state. f) Spare point: it refers to the point not be used but wired and with equipment. g) Wired point: common equipment, wire and position of this kind of points have been provided, and they can be used through inserting certain hardware. h) Space on point: it refers to point space left in machine cabinet for connection of hardware, equipment, machine and wire in the future.
