1 Subject Contents and Application Scope
This standard specifies two kinds of bursting test methods to determine the strength and the bursting distension of the straight seams of the textiles. Method A is marble bursting method; method B is diaphragm bursting method.
This standard is applicable to knitted fabrics, elastic woven fabrics and their products.
This standard is not applicable to high-elastic fabrics.
