1 Scope
This standard specifies the test method for determination of peeling strength of compound fabrics.
This standard is applicable to fabrics combined with other fabrics or with other materials (such as foam, wadding, etc.).
This standard is not applicable to coated fabrics.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
peeling strength
strength required to separate the fabric from another fabric or from a compound layer
3.2
complete peeling
peeling state in which no compound fragments remain on the fabrics during peeling
3.3
partial tearing
peeling state in which part of the fabric is torn or fragments remain stuck to the fabrics during peeling
3.4
fabric failure
fabric breaks or part of compound layer breaks because the peeling strength is greater than the strength of the fabric or compound layer in the peeling process
