For the purposes of this document, the following term and definition applies.

jeans-style water-washed garments produced with knitting method and woven jean dyeing process
4 Product Size
4.1 The size of knitted jeanswear shall comply with GB/T 1335 (all parts) or GB/T 6411.
4.2 The specifications of main parts of finished product are designed independently in accordance with the requirements of product style.
5 Requirements
5.1 Requirement contents
The requirements are divided into inherent quality requirements and appearance quality requirements. Inherent quality includes indexes such as formaldehyde content, peculiar smell, pH value, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, fiber content, bursting strength, back crotch seam strength, dimensional change rate in water washing, spirality after water washing, pilling, color fastness to water, color fastness to perspiration, color fastness to dry rubbing, color fastness to soaping, color fastness to light, abrasion resistance, appearance quality after washing, etc.; while appearance quality includes indexes such as surface defect spot, dimensional difference at symmetric parts, specification and dimension deviation at main parts of finished product, sewing requirements, etc.
5.2 Grading requirements
5.2.1 Knitted jeanswear is classified into high-grade product, first-grade product and acceptable product based on quality grade.
5.2.2 Quality grading of knitted jeanswear: inherent quality is graded by batch and appearance quality graded by piece, the minimum grade shall prevail while the above two methods are used in combination.
5.2.3 As for various indexes of inherent quality, the worst inspection result is used as the grading basis to this batch of products.
5.2.4 Appearance quality is graded according to the grades of surface defect spot, dimension difference in itself, specification and dimension deviation at main parts of finished product and sewing requirements, and the minimum grade shall prevail. Only two limit surface defect spots of the same grade are allowed to exist on the same product, those beyond the requirement shall be lowered by a grade.
