本标准规定了多臂装置的型式与基本参数、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于配置在高、中速无梭织机上，织造以天然(棉、毛、丝、麻)纤维、化纤、混纺纤维的纱、丝、线为原料的平纹、斜纹、缎纹或小花纹织物的多臂装置。
其他织机配置的各型多臂装置亦可参照使用。
