Safety code of practice for coating - Safety for electrostatic powder coating process 1 Scope This document specifies the basic safety requirements for electrostatic powder coating process, such as basic requirements, powder coating equipment and its auxiliary devices, ventilation and purification, storage and transportation of powder paint, and operation and maintenance safety management. This document is applicable to the design of electrostatic powder coating process and the design, installation, operation, maintenance and management of its equipment, as well as the acceptance of electrostatic powder coating works. It also serves as a reference for fluidized bed electrostatic coating, fluidized bed coating and other fluidized coating methods. 2 Normative references The following documents contain requirements which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies.
