1 Scope This standard specifies safety requirements and measures which the shot (air) blast equipment design personnel, the manufacturer, the supplier and the user shall comply with. This standard is applicable to all kinds of shot (air) blast equipment for shot (air) blasting of workpiece surface and those for joint processing of air blast and shot (air) blast (hereinafter referred to as equipment). This standard is also applicable to all the units and auxiliary equipment that account for shot (air) blast equipment group. 2 Normative References The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this standard, constitute provisions of this standard.
